YATA is the guidance of the Yatagarasu. In Japanese mythology, this three-legged sacred crow led Emperor Jimmu to the land of Yamato — a symbol of wisdom and direction.
NODE is a node in a network. It works as a hub that connects technology, content, and people.
YATA-NODE is a hub of practical technical knowledge that points a clear direction for anyone lost in the maze of technology choices.
For the complex, hard-to-navigate work of building and operating in the AI era, we curate and share knowledge — from the standpoint of a practitioner who also builds solo — to support both in-house practitioners at companies and individual developers.

Why I started YATA-NODE
Not long after the term "vibe coding" was first coined, I proposed to our in-house IT department that we open a basic security course to a wide audience. There was no response, and it was only much later that I realized the proposal had simply been passed over.
This is a problem, I thought — so I started in-house education within my own reach. But there is a limit to how far one person can reach directly. While building understanding inside the company and looking out toward Japan and the wider world, I realized that publishing on social media could reach far more people, and I began working under the name YATA-NODE.
Security has finally become a widely discussed topic, yet many themes that become a risk if you stay unaware — copyright chief among them — still remain. So that individual developers who work under their own name, and companies that have built social trust over generations — especially small and mid-sized firms that struggle to keep dedicated legal staff — do not stumble in unexpected places, we start by sharing the basics and helping people reach a state where they can consult the right expert when needed. From there, we will gradually cover the latest in AI from the fundamentals as well, broadening toward transferable ways of thinking and a wider perspective.
About the author
I started as a control-engineering engineer at a major electronics manufacturer and, over more than 20 years centered on developing electrical equipment, have handled the full range — proposals, planning, scheduling, development, evaluation, mass-production support, yield improvement, and complaint handling. Taking on work across many fields while always staying at the front line of product development, I have accumulated a comparable span of years in software development. I have also been building things as an individual developer for about 10 years.
Hardware and software, inside companies and in individual practice — because I have learned both sides in turn, I can see areas that are broad yet hard to know where to begin. Wanting to give even a little of that learning back to the world is the starting point of this work.
Even in the maze, there is a direction forward.
